About the role

  • Product Owner shaping member experiences and strategic products at Desjardins. Managing backlogs, complex initiatives, stakeholders, and product-owner coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the voice of the client in projects and be responsible for the member/client experience
  • Prepare a range of products and services to ensure a positive member/client experience
  • Collaborate with the project developer and business analyst to ensure solutions meet user needs and expected project benefits are delivered
  • Manage relationships with project stakeholders
  • Lead and influence squad specialists and stakeholders in strategic, complex, innovative, cross-sector planning, feasibility and development projects
  • Contribute to strategic orientations and business positioning
  • Make recommendations on highly complex files and projects affecting business-sector orientations
  • Establish product backlogs for projects, mandates and development activities
  • Advise and assist clients and partners with positioning, planning, development, performance and follow-up of strategic mandates
  • Oversee development and updating of policies, standards, models and programs
  • Identify and analyze problems, develop diagnostics and make recommendations on business solutions and market-development strategies
  • Coach other product owners
  • Represent the unit in dealings with senior management committees and decision-making bodies
  • Represent Desjardins when negotiating and committing to agreements with partners and external organizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
