About the role
- Desjardins securities advisor serving members and clients through investment products and personalized solutions. Supporting compliance, branch operations, staffing, and complex securities administration in Granby.
Responsibilities
- Serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
- Sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
- Focus on discretionary management, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and structured products
- Handle special information requests from clients and promote and sell specialized products and services
- Ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality according to organizational standards and procedures
- Analyze member/client needs, develop and implement personalized solutions, and propose integrated service offers
- Support current and potential members and clients, represent the organization, and help negotiate agreements
- Provide administrative assistance in compliance, budget monitoring, and management of administrative staff for a large branch or group of branches
- Serve as a resource person for employees regarding policies, procedures, methods, and operational and interpersonal problem-solving
- Work with support services to resolve everyday operational issues
- Supervise the deposit of client cheques and handle complex operational tasks, including coordinating interest management for new issues
- Help recruit and hire administrative staff and handle employee start and departure logistics
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
