About the role

  • Desjardins securities advisor serving members and clients. Selling investment products and supporting branch operations in a hybrid Québec role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance in compliance, budget monitoring, and management of administrative staff for a large branch or group of branches
  • Serve as a resource person for employees regarding policies, procedures, methods, and operational and interpersonal problem-solving
  • Work with support services to resolve everyday operational issues in the branch or branches
  • Supervise the deposit of client cheques and handle complex operational tasks, including coordinating interest management for new issues
  • Proactively help recruit and hire administrative staff
  • Handle logistics when employees start or leave
  • Serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
  • Sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
  • Promote and sell specialized products and services in accordance with business objectives and strategies
  • Ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality
  • Analyze member/client needs, develop and implement personalized solutions, and propose integrated service offers
  • Support current and potential members and clients, represent the organization, and help negotiate agreements with clients

Requirements

  • College diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Hold the title of Investment Representative with CIRO
  • Knowledge of French is required
