About the role
- Senior training advisor developing skills programs and strategic initiatives for Desjardins, North America’s largest cooperative financial group. Coaching employees and advising decision-making bodies.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients and partners to position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs supporting strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Represent the unit before decision-making bodies
- Represent Desjardins’s position
- Assist with needs analysis, training development, logistics and delivery
- Coach and mentor employees
- Lead complex and innovative development projects and strategic initiatives
- Serve as specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies
- Coordinate frequently with stakeholders in other fields
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Advanced proficiency of French
- Hold the Financial Planner designation
- Interpersonal savvy
- Strategic mindset
