About the role

  • Senior training advisor developing skills programs and strategic initiatives for Desjardins, North America’s largest cooperative financial group. Coaching employees and advising decision-making bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients and partners to position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives
  • Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs supporting strategic projects and initiatives
  • Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
  • Represent the unit before decision-making bodies
  • Represent Desjardins’s position
  • Assist with needs analysis, training development, logistics and delivery
  • Coach and mentor employees
  • Lead complex and innovative development projects and strategic initiatives
  • Serve as specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies
  • Coordinate frequently with stakeholders in other fields

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Advanced proficiency of French
  • Hold the Financial Planner designation
  • Interpersonal savvy
  • Strategic mindset
