- Turnaround and recovery advisor managing distressed loans, bad debt, and guarantees for Desjardins. Developing recovery strategies, recommendations, and action plans with clients and partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to manage, monitor and resolve distressed loans and bad debt
- Extend guarantees
- Advise and assist clients and partners as part of intervention and development initiatives
- Recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs
- Prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on organizational objectives and priorities
- Solve complex problems using analytical skills and extensive knowledge of the line of business
- Diagnose issues, challenges and needs to determine target outcomes
- Develop and help implement objectives, solutions and action plans
- Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports
- Carry out projects and initiatives related to the line of work
- Serve as resource person for the unit, clients and partners
- Coordinate and interact frequently with stakeholders working in other fields
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
