About the role
- Wealth Management Advisor developing financial strategies for affluent members and business owners. Recommending investments, loans, and insurance solutions at Desjardins.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients
- Listen to members’ and clients’ needs and provide advice suited to their financial situation
- Help members and clients choose appropriate solutions to meet their financial goals
- Work with affluent individual members and business owners
- Develop strategies and recommend investments, loans and insurance products
- Serve as an expert advisor and resource person in savings and investments
- Balance member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability and prudent risk management
- Work with partners and experts to design integrated strategies
- Advise members and clients on the best strategies and identify expected results
- Manage business relationships and assess member/client satisfaction and service quality
- Follow up and identify areas for improvement
- Stay current on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices
- Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
