About the role

  • HR Service Centre Team Lead providing hands-on HR support and coaching coordinators. Dexterra Group delivers facilities management and infrastructure support across Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to an assigned client group, including employee inquiries, transactions, case management, data updates, and documentation
  • Coach, mentor, and provide practical guidance to HR Service Centre Coordinators
  • Help prioritize work, coordinate team coverage, and maintain consistent service delivery
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for complex or non-standard inquiries
  • Support onboarding and training for new team members
  • Reinforce standard processes and service expectations
  • Complete quality checks, identify recurring issues, and recommend practical improvements
  • Maintain procedures, templates, checklists, and knowledge resources
  • Work with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and support process or system changes

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of HR experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, Employee Services, or a similar HR support environment
  • Experience as a Team Lead, Senior Coordinator, or in another role providing day-to-day coaching and support to a team
  • Strong customer service skills and a practical, people-focused approach
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Sound judgement and a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance individual responsibilities, shifting priorities, and team support in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with HR systems, case-management tools, and employee data
  • Bonus points if bilingual in English and French
