About the role

  • Asset finance company’s generalist managing equipment lease-end renewals, returns, sales, and disposition. Supporting specialists, customers, vendors, and dealers throughout the end-of-lease process.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Asset Sales Specialist with end-of-lease income through renewals/extensions with lessees or equipment sales to partners and third parties
  • Own the end-of-lease process for assigned assets, including lease expiry notifications, email follow-up, and customer contact
  • Handle end-of-lease inquiries and provide renewal invoices, return instructions, buyout information, and contract copies
  • Organize logistics for equipment returns and cost-effective delivery of assets for remarketing
  • Determine next steps in the end-of-lease process to finalize files
  • Execute documentation, asset-sale invoicing, and administrative functions
  • Enforce contractual cancellation terms and return conditions
  • Arrange timely collection of restocking fees, excess usage charges, and damages
  • Liaise with vendor and dealer partners on end-of-lease requests
  • Work assigned follow-up worklists related to asset disposition
  • Manage refunds and lease terminations
  • Support Asset Sales Specialists and Business Development Managers with administrative tasks

Requirements

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills in speaking, reading, writing in English is required
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn different aspects of each GBU including Office equipment, Constructions, Agricultural, healthcare and tech equipment
  • Multitasking is a must
  • Ability to interact at different levels of a customer organization
  • Strong focus on customer service and relationship management
  • Open to give and receive feedback to foster a learning culture in the team
  • Able to work in a multi-functional and multi-cultural environment
  • Ready to go above and beyond to deliver results
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work from home independently/in a team environment both remotely and in-office (twice a week on average)
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good interaction between the team members and other departments
  • Customer Service experience
  • Bilingual (French/English) an asset
  • Successful completion of a background check
