About the role
- Senior Financial Analyst guiding IFRS revenue recognition and accounting policy at Docebo, an AI-powered learning platform. Partnering across teams and with auditors to ensure accurate reporting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate complex customer agreements and determine appropriate accounting treatment under IFRS 15
- Provide strategic guidance on contract structures
- Serve as technical expert for revenue accounting software
- Manage functional performance and system enhancements
- Support adoption of new IFRS standards
- Prepare accounting documentation and position papers
- Refine internal accounting policies and procedures
- Analyze financial data and monitor revenue trends
- Deliver actionable insights for strategic business decisions
- Partner with Legal, Sales, Deals Desk, and other operational teams on revenue-impacting terms
- Ensure alignment with GAAP and internal controls
- Serve as technical expert and primary contact for external auditors on revenue and accounting policy matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Required CPA designation
- 3-4 years of relevant technical accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience
- Expertise in complex revenue recognition environments
- Practical application of IFRS 15 or ASC 606
- Advanced Excel skills
- Financial modeling capabilities
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities independently
- Ability to drive process improvements in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Experience with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is advantageous
- Prior experience in public accounting is advantageous
- Ability to work from the office three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)
