About the role
- Senior Product Engineer owning full-stack features for Docebo’s AI-powered learning platform. Building cloud services, frontend experiences, APIs, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own features end to end from discovery and technical design through implementation, production deployment, and iteration
- Work across frontend applications, APIs, backend services, and integration layers
- Contribute technical depth in a primary discipline while developing broader system understanding
- Participate in architecture discussions, evaluate tradeoffs, and shape scalable, maintainable, pragmatic solutions
- Partner with Product and Design to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Drive testing, CI/CD, observability, code quality, and technical debt practices
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, QA, and platform teams
- Support other engineers through code reviews, pairing, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Four to six or more years of software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in either backend or frontend engineering
- Practical experience across the broader stack
- Experience taking features from technical design through development, deployment, and production support
- Solid understanding of software design, APIs, application architecture, testing, and maintainable production software
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD and observability practices
- Ability to understand customer problems, navigate ambiguity, and balance technical quality with meaningful delivery
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs and work effectively across Engineering, Product, Design, and QA
- Experience with AWS serverless technologies, asynchronous workflows, distributed systems, or event-driven architecture is a bonus
- Infrastructure as Code experience using CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools is a bonus
- Experience with large frontend applications, component architecture, state management, design systems, accessibility, or performance is a bonus
- Experience with Node.js and TypeScript services or Go, Python, PHP, or other backend technologies is a bonus
- Experience with monitoring, tracing, structured logging, metrics, and production diagnosis is a bonus
- Required application experience with React.js, Node.js, Go, TypeScript, Python, AWS, CI/CD, SaaS product environments, and recent Angular
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar
