About the role

  • Senior Integrity Projects Engineer sponsoring complex pipeline integrity projects for Enbridge’s energy infrastructure. Shaping risk strategies, capital investments, and asset stewardship.

Responsibilities

  • Sponsor complex integrity-driven projects and programs from development and funding through execution and close-out
  • Lead projects including pipeline replacements, hydrotests, geohazard remediation, pipeline modifications, and other complex integrity mitigation initiatives
  • Develop integrity strategies and prioritize risk mitigation investments
  • Support capital planning and portfolio optimization
  • Apply risk-based decision-making to evaluate opportunities and recommend mitigation solutions
  • Represent Integrity & Risk Management on complex projects and cross-functional initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external collaborators
  • Provide technical leadership, integrity assurance, and engineering mentorship
  • Mentor team members
  • Drive continuous improvement of integrity processes, tools, and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
  • 6 or more years of directly relevant experience in engineering, project management, integrity management, pipeline operations, or related technical disciplines
  • Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta; if in the U.S., PE is preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities and deliver results
  • Proven ability to address complex technical and business challenges using sound judgement and risk-based decision-making
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, and communication skills, including presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in integrity management, pipeline operations, risk assessment, data analysis, or capital project development
  • Commitment to safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including light-to-moderate lifting up to 20 pounds, repetitive motion, typing, and extended computer use
  • Ability to understand and apply oral and written instructions, collaborate on complex problems, organize and prioritize work, make decisions, complete routine forms, compose basic reports, and communicate by telephone
  • Moderate travel of approximately 20% throughout Canada and the United States
  • Valid passport required
  • Valid driver’s license and responsible driving record required
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located without requiring current or future sponsorship
  • Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check
