About the role

  • Vice President leading global HR strategy, compliance, and M&A integration for Enghouse Systems, a multinational software company. Overseeing HR operations, talent programs, and employee lifecycle across international regions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Enghouse's centralized global Human Resources function and establish consistent HR strategies, policies, programs, and governance across operating regions
  • Advise the Chief Administrative Officer on Human Resources matters and provide commercially sound recommendations
  • Align HR strategies and initiatives with financial, operational, and strategic objectives
  • Develop and execute the global HR strategy supporting business objectives and international growth
  • Lead the employee lifecycle across North America, Central and South America, Europe, the United Kingdom, India, and the Asia-Pacific region
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements across international jurisdictions
  • Lead HR due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, including employment risk assessments, organizational analysis, retention planning, and workforce transition strategies
  • Develop and execute post-acquisition integration plans for acquired businesses and employees
  • Identify organizational risks and opportunities and recommend practical solutions
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, performance management, talent development, employee relations, and HR operations
  • Lead governance and continuous improvement of the HRIS
  • Build and develop a high-performing HR team
  • Support international operations through occasional travel

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility
  • Demonstrated success leading a centralized global Human Resources function across multiple international regions
  • Significant experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including HR due diligence, employment risk assessment, workforce planning, and post-acquisition integration
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices across multiple international jurisdictions
  • Deep knowledge of employment law and compliance, including strong working knowledge of GDPR
  • Experience within enterprise software, technology, or another acquisitive multinational organization strongly preferred
  • Experience administering and optimizing an HRIS, preferably BambooHR
  • Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of HR's contribution to profitability and operational effectiveness
  • Proven ability to make commercially focused decisions balancing legal, employee, operational, and business considerations
  • Juris Doctor (JD/LLB) or significant employment law experience strongly preferred
  • CHRL, CHRE, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent professional designation considered an asset
