About the role

Sales Reporting Analyst delivering sales, margin, and profitability insights for Essity, a global health and hygiene company. Supporting financial reporting, distributor data, and business controls.

Responsibilities

Support direct and distributor customer sales analytics for the Incontinence and Medical divisions
Perform financial analysis, including aspects of profit center accounting and control
Perform operational analysis and support financial systems and procedures
Provide sales analytics, insights, trends, account assignments, and updates across multiple systems
Generate financial reports and provide visibility into customer sales trends and profitability
Support geographic, territory, regional, and national sales and margin analysis
Provide timely sales and gross profit data using distributor throughput sales information and internal direct-customer sales
Streamline and consolidate monthly distributor sales data using Essity technology
Liaise with distributor partners to obtain and validate sales data
Coordinate with the Essity technology team to resolve data-load issues and ensure system accuracy
Publish monthly sales and margin reports using Microsoft Office tools and Power BI
Fulfill ad-hoc requests from functional groups
Use data and analytics tools to create insights that improve decision-making and effectiveness
Participate in cross-business Controlling Network activities and ensure compliance with Essity finance policies
Perform other essential finance functions as required

Strong analytical and technical skills; comfortable working with mass sales data
2+ years of financial analyst experience
Degree in Finance or Business preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Proficiency in SAP, PowerPoint, and Word
Knowledge of Business Warehouse and Power BI
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proven problem-solving and collaboration skills
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; comfortable with frequent internal customer interaction
Ability to travel (10%)
