About the role

  • Technicien électromécanique chez EVLO, fournisseur de systèmes de stockage d’énergie par batterie. Mise en service, maintenance, automatisation et soutien des installations au Canada et à l’international.

Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and prepare electrical and mechanical drawings for control and power panels, cables, and harnesses
  • Design prototypes using manufacturing drawings
  • Conduct feasibility tests for electrical and mechanical prototypes
  • Execute performance testing procedures
  • Diagnose failures and identify the required components
  • Submit requisition requests to the Procurement team and track deliveries from suppliers
  • Perform quality assurance and measurement tests
  • Participate in the maintenance and operation of energy storage systems
  • Program and configure Allen-Bradley and Phoenix Contact PLCs
  • Provide on-site support in Canada and abroad for installations and user assistance
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions tailored to field requirements

Requirements

  • College diploma in electromechanics or electrical engineering
  • 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in power electricity, controls, and/or electromechanics
  • Knowledge of safe electrical work practices
  • Knowledge of automation and control systems
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical and SolidWorks Mechanical (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Phoenix Contact PLCs (an asset)
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel across Canada and internationally (travel required)
