Ingénieure en équipements routiers et ouvrages d’art chez EXP, firme de services d’ingénierie, d’architecture et de conception. Conception, inspection et analyse structurale de projets de transport.

Responsibilities

Perform calculations, structural analyses, and designs for roadway equipment and bridge structures in accordance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
Participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications for roadway equipment and/or bridge structure projects.
Prepare cost estimates based on quantity takeoffs and the solutions selected for each project.
Participate in the preparation, coordination, and execution of inspection projects involving sign structures and/or electrotechnical structures, and contribute to the preparation of inspection reports.
Participate in field surveys of overhead sign structures and perform structural analyses of these structures.
Conduct engineering studies for the construction and rehabilitation of steel and concrete structures.
Provide design support during the construction phases.
Contribute to the effective operation of a team of engineers and technicians.
Establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues, clients, contractor-partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Share knowledge and experience with the team.
Serve as, or become, a technical reference.
Perform all other duties related to the position.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional experience in bridges and bridge structures, specifically in roadway equipment.
Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) as a professional engineer.
Knowledge of modeling and design software such as Advance Design America and SAFI, as well as Microsoft Office and other software.
Proficiency in the codes and technologies related to bridge design, as well as the requirements of the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD) and the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (PJCCI).
