- Mechanical Maintenance Technician resolving equipment malfunctions and performing maintenance tasks in a dynamic team at Expleo Canada. Engaging in multi-disciplinary collaborations on innovative projects in Quebec.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
- Complete failure reports.
- Use a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for parts lookup, drawings, work procedures, etc.
- Participate in failure analyses.
- Communicate and coordinate with the maintenance team and other internal departments.
- Contact equipment manufacturers’ technical support as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
- Update work procedures and electrical drawings in cooperation with the reliability engineer.
- Update lockout/tagout sheets.
- Participate in equipment updates and improvements.
Requirements
- College diploma (DEC) in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent.
- Candidate with 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Technical background: Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, SAP.
- Languages: French required, functional/working knowledge of English.
- Soft skills: ability to make technical decisions; strong analytical skills; autonomous; team player; good listener.
