About the role
- Mechanical Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues at Expleo in Quebec. Involves preventive maintenance and collaboration with internal teams for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
- Complete fault reports.
- Use a CMMS (parts lookup, drawings, work instructions, etc.).
- Participate in failure analyses.
- Communicate and coordinate with the maintenance team and other internal departments.
- Contact manufacturers' technical support services when required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
- Update work instructions and electrical schematics in cooperation with the reliability engineer.
- Update lockout/tagout (LOTO) forms.
- Participate in equipment updates and improvements.
Requirements
- College diploma in Industrial Mechanics.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Technical background: Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics.
- IT: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, SAP.
- Languages: French required, functional English.
- Soft skills: ability to make technical decisions, strong analytical skills, autonomy, team player, good listening skills.
