Responsibilities
Join a candidate pool for finance-stream student internships, co-op positions, and new-grad roles across EDC teams
Work in areas including Risk Management, Credit Operation, Financial Operations, Insurance, Economics, and Accounting
Build foundational business and finance skills in a Crown corporation
Build cross-functional professional networks
Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation
Continuously learn and grow through coaching and mentoring
Work in a high-performing, fast-paced, flexible environment
Report to an EDC hub across Canada
Participate in interviews and team assignment matching based on business needs
Requirements
Student or new graduate in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management (finance focus), or a related program
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, eligible for up to one year after completion of studies
Available for 8 months or more; roles may also be available for 4-month terms
Previous work term experience related to field of study
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Knowledge of both official languages is an asset and may be required for certain positions
Ability to work legally in Canada at the time of application as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Work Permit holder
Must meet requisite government security screening requirements
