Responsibilities
- Participate in student internships and co-op programs across various EDC teams
- Support work in ESG, finance, commerce, marketing and communications, project management, technology, analytics, and related areas
- Gain experience in a Crown corporation and develop foundational business skills
- Build cross-functional professional networks
- Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Continuously learn and grow through coaching and mentoring
- Work in a high-performing, fast-paced, flexible environment
- Report to an EDC hub across Canada
- Participate in team interviews and assignments based on business needs
Requirements
- Student or new graduate in ESG, finance, commerce, marketing and communications, project management, technology and analytics, or a related field
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, eligible for up to one year after completion of studies
- Available for 8 months or more preferred; roles may be available for 4-month terms
- Previous work-term experience related to field of study
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Knowledge of both official languages is an asset and may be required for certain positions
- Ability to work legally in Canada at the time of application, preferably as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Work Permit holder
- Must meet government security screening requirements
