Responsibilities
- Participate in student internships and co-op programs across Technology and Analytics teams
- Work in development, analytics, software, business analysis, data, or related assignments
- Build cross-functional professional networks
- Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Continuously learn and grow through coaching and mentoring
- Work in a high-performing, fast-paced, and flexible environment
- Report to an EDC hub across Canada
- Complete team-specific work assignments, with detailed responsibilities provided if selected for an interview
Requirements
- Studying or has studied Computer Science, Business Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Interested in development, analytics, software, business analysis, or similar
- Business or Technology-focused student wanting to work in the IT space of an organization
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, eligible for up to one year after completion of studies
- Available for 8 months or more; roles may be available for 4-month terms, with preference for longer availability
- Previous work term experience related to field of study
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Enthusiasm to tackle tasks ranging from menial to complex
- Knowledge of both official languages is an asset and may be required for certain positions
- Ability to work legally in Canada at the time of application as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Work Permit holder
- Must meet requisite government security screening requirements
