About the role

  • Marketing and communications students and new grads joining Export Development Canada, a Canadian export-finance corporation. Supporting Brand, Communications, Strategy, and Marketing Technology teams.

Responsibilities

  • Join a candidate pool for student and new graduate roles across Marketing and Communications teams
  • Work on teams including Brand, Internal Relations, Communications, Marketing Strategy, and Marketing Technology
  • Build cross-functional professional networks
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Continuously learn and grow through coaching and mentoring
  • Work in a high-performing, fast-paced, flexible environment
  • Report to one of EDC’s hubs across Canada
  • Participate in four-month winter work terms, potentially extended by four months or more based on business needs
  • Interview with teams whose detailed assignments are provided if selected

Requirements

  • Student or new grad in a Marketing or Communications-specific program, or a related program with an interest in Marketing and Communication roles
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, eligible for up to one year after completion of studies
  • Available for 8 months or more; roles may also be available for 4-month terms
  • Previous work term experience related to field of study
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Knowledge of both official languages is an asset and may be required for certain positions
  • Able to work legally in Canada at the time of application (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Work Permit)
  • Must meet requisite government security screening requirements
  • Applications must be received by October 30, 2026
