Responsibilities
- Participate in student internships and co-op programs across various Commerce-focused teams
- Support business activities and develop foundational business skills within Export Development Canada
- Build cross-functional professional networks
- Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Continuously learn and grow through coaching and mentoring
- Work in a high-performing, fast-paced, and flexible environment
- Report to an EDC Hub across Canada
- Participate in team interviews and assignments based on business needs
Requirements
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, eligible for up to one year after completion of studies
- Studying or recently graduated from a program focused on Commerce, International Business, Management, Business, or a related field
- Available for 8 months or more; preference given to candidates with extended availability
- Previous work term experience related to field of study
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Knowledge of both official languages is an asset and may be required for certain positions
- Able to work legally in Canada at the time of application: Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Work Permit
- Must meet requisite government security screening requirements
