Responsibilities
Fill positions within various marketing and communications teams
Develop a broad range of skills with teams responsible for brand management, internal relations, communications, marketing strategy, and marketing technology
Build relationships with colleagues from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation
Learn and develop alongside the organization’s employees
Participate in a coaching and mentoring program
Work in a productive, flexible, and dynamic technology-enabled environment
Collaborate from EDC’s community hubs across Canada
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing or communications program
Currently enrolled in a related program with an interest in marketing and communications
Undergraduate or graduate degree completed within the past year or currently in progress
Available for a period of 8 months or longer
Previous work experience related to the field of study
Strong oral and written communication skills
Motivation, initiative, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enthusiasm for carrying out both routine and complex tasks
Knowledge of both official languages, which may be required for certain positions
Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit at the time of application
Ability to meet government security screening requirements
Currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution or completed studies within the past year
