About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support digital transformation leads in preparing, drafting, documenting, and operationally implementing the ministry’s digital initiatives
  • Prepare the logistics, materials, administration, presentations, templates, worksheets, and visuals for workshops and meetings
  • Take notes, capture ideas, and consolidate outcomes during workshops
  • Produce meeting minutes, summaries, briefing notes, draft documents, and other deliverables for internal committees
  • Support the coordination of digital projects through follow-ups, timelines, reminders, and dashboards
  • Compile and organize the information required for reporting and reviews
  • Collect, organize, and synthesize information from internal teams
  • Document processes, needs, operational pain points, and findings; conduct preliminary research or analysis
  • Write articles, FAQs, fact sheets, quick-reference guides, internal messages, scripts, and educational content related to digital transformation
  • Design and produce information capsules, tutorials, and awareness content, including scripting, visual design, recording, editing, and the integration of interactive elements
  • Ensure quality, consistency, clear communication, and compliance with the organization’s visual standards
  • Collaborate with internal experts to validate content when required
  • Design and produce simple visuals and presentations for internal communications
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer throughout the engagement
  • Monitor trends in digital transformation, information management, responsible digital practices, and government policies

Requirements

  • Technical college diploma (DEC) or undergraduate university degree (bachelor’s degree) in communications, education, graphic design, information management, administration, computer science, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital transformation support, digital communications, instructional design, multimedia production, or a similar role
  • Proficiency with multimedia creation tools, including at least one video editing tool and one interactive content creation tool
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design or digital content production
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and incorporate them into interactive content
  • Experience documenting processes, conducting operational analyses, or writing briefing notes, reports, or meeting minutes for decision-making bodies
  • In-depth knowledge of digital culture principles: collaboration, data-driven decision-making, customer centricity, and innovation
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, responsible digital practices, and information management issues
  • Ability to manage a digital production or transformation support assignment from end to end
  • Demonstrated workshop facilitation or co-facilitation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, synthesis, and prioritization skills
  • Creativity and a strong sense of visual usability
  • Experience with digital transformation in a public-sector context (asset)
  • Knowledge of relevant government policies (asset)
