About the role

  • Student Loans Analyst supporting FCC, a Canadian agriculture financing Crown corporation. Assisting lending operations, workflow management, reporting and credit assessment projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support operational activities, documentation preparation, tracking and reporting
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization efforts
  • Help teams respond to peak workload periods, seasonal volume increases and account reviews
  • Support reporting, data gathering and project activities
  • Assist with credit assessment and commercial lending transformation work
  • Organize information and support workflow management activities that contribute to service levels and turnaround times
  • Work with teams supporting Commercial Agriculture Underwriting, Underwriting Business Financing and Commercial Lending operations
  • Collaborate with Loans Analysts, Senior Loans Analysts and business partners

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an agricultural economics, commerce, finance, agriculture, business or a related post-secondary program
  • Strong analytical thinking, organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in lending, underwriting, commercial financing or customer service
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
  • Experience with reporting, documentation or workflow-related activities is preferred
  • Interest in agricultural lending and credit risk assessment is preferred
  • Curiosity, adaptability and commitment to continuous learning
  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency in both official languages (English and French) is preferred
  • Must be available for a 4-month summer placement from May to August 2027
