About the role
- Maintaining contracted roadway assets as a Patrol Maintenance Technician for Webber, part of Ferrovial. Overseeing operations, providing leadership, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining contracted assets per the standards and conditions specified in the contract
- Performing duties of shift supervisor during the winter maintenance season
- Organizing work activities by arranging for appropriate equipment, material, and labor
- Providing leadership and training to junior Webber staff
- Inspecting work performed by contract staff for compliance to standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in construction, road maintenance, commercial/industry repair, maintenance or landscaping
- Valid Ontario Class “DZ” Driver’s License and MTO Operator’s Permit
- Working knowledge of maintenance operations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Ability to prepare and maintain neat accurate records
