About the role

  • People and Culture Generalist supporting employee relations, talent processes, and HR operations at Canada’s growing motor and recreational vehicle retailer. Hybrid Saskatoon role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and employees as a trusted People & Culture resource across the business
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, culture, and employee experience initiatives
  • Support employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, investigations, accommodations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
  • Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance, engagement, and offboarding
  • Support inquiries into benefits, retirement programs, and employee leave administration
  • Prepare employee correspondence, disciplinary documentation, policy acknowledgements, and other People & Culture documentation
  • Work with leaders on talent development, succession planning, training, and performance review processes
  • Maintain accurate HRIS information, employee records, documentation, and organizational information
  • Use workforce reporting, metrics, and People data to help leaders make informed decisions
  • Support compliance with employment standards, human rights legislation, privacy requirements, and workplace policies
  • Conduct stay interviews, exit interviews, and other feedback initiatives to identify trends and opportunities
  • Participate in organizational change, process improvement, and special projects
  • Build relationships across departments and business units while bringing solutions, ideas, and sound judgment

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or equivalent role
  • A post-secondary HR diploma, degree, or certificate is required
  • Familiarity with employment standards across multiple provinces
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and HRIS
  • Skilled in building relationships at all levels
  • Energy, a strategic mindset, and commitment to supporting and empowering people
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Valid driver’s license required
