About the role
- Warehouse Associate shipping and receiving industrial parts for Motion Industries in Burlington. Picking accurate orders, preparing deliveries and returns, maintaining inventory, and supporting customers.
Responsibilities
- Determine items to be picked, checked, and shipped from sales orders
- Pull and recheck orders for accuracy
- Prepare items for customer delivery
- Secure packages to prevent shipping damage
- Prepare customer returns for shipment to distribution, fulfillment, or suppliers
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to MINO code organization
- Report damaged or substandard inventory to the warehouse supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Deliver items to customers when required and obtain delivery signatures
- Process counter sales or customer invoices when required
- Operate a forklift or similar equipment when required
- Receive items in the computer system to show customer availability
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Typically requires a high school diploma or GED
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to move up to 100 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
- May need certification to operate a forklift
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
