About the role

  • Field Marketing Manager building ABM and customer programmes for Float, a Canadian business finance platform. Driving qualified pipeline, closed-won revenue, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Build Float’s field marketing function, measured on pipeline and revenue rather than events delivered
  • Own account-based programmes for top target accounts
  • Partner with BDR and AE teams to create qualified pipeline, accelerate open deals, and open doors into new accounts
  • Own customer engagement, including the twice-yearly Float Forward customer conference
  • Set strategy and remain accountable for sourced and influenced pipeline, deal velocity, and Float’s reputation in the Canadian finance community
  • Own field and ABM programmes end to end, including qualification criteria, sales handoffs, tracking, and closed-won outcomes
  • Build repeatable customer marketing and acquisition programmes with clear goals, cadence, and ownership
  • Establish an always-on customer engagement cadence through webinars, thought leadership, and customer spotlights
  • Develop strategies to earn introductions to prospects and build relationships in the Canadian finance community
  • Manage Float Forward strategy, budget, logistics, and post-event pipeline follow-through
  • Maintain a live roadmap for sales, CSMs, and leadership; run regular stakeholder meetings and syncs
  • Evaluate programmes against the marketing operating expense budget and CAC
  • Manage vendors and contractors and communicate schedule or activation changes

Requirements

  • 5+ years in field marketing, ABM, or a related revenue-facing marketing role at a high-growth B2B company
  • Demonstrated track record of converting event- or ABM-generated pipeline into closed-won revenue, with metrics to prove it
  • Experience building repeatable, durable programmes with a clear cadence and owner
  • Comfort owning a budget and connecting it to CAC
  • Strong operational discipline, including maintaining roadmaps and running stakeholder meetings
  • Ability to build relationships, earn warm introductions, and establish standing in a professional community
  • Practical, day-to-day use of AI tools for research, content, and campaign execution
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Currently residing in Canada
