Ford Pro software sales manager driving telematics, fleet management, and charging solutions through Canadian dealerships. Conducting demos, training partners, closing sales, and supporting customers across the territory.
Responsibilities
Drive new Ford Pro Software and Charging opportunities through Ford dealerships by meeting customers, creating proposals, and closing business
Conduct sales demonstrations for prospective customers in person and virtually
Provide training to channel partners to increase sales representatives’ product knowledge
Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients and dealers
Stay current and knowledgeable on Ford Pro products and services
Use Salesforce to manage and grow the assigned business
Assist with client support and customer issue resolution
Support local dealership partners on sales opportunities within the territory
Generate leads through channel partners and close sales opportunities
Build strong working relationships with Ford/Lincoln dealers and commercial sales teams
Manage prospecting, onboarding, and ongoing support for prospective and existing customers
Provide voice-of-customer feedback to Ford Pro product development teams
Follow the defined Lead Management Process and document customer contact
Partner with the Commercial Sales Manager within the assigned sales region
Travel 75% or more within the region
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
5+ years of field sales/service experience calling on Dealers or fleet customers
3+ years of consultative selling experience across multiple products to serve end users
Measured success and a proven track record in Software Sales
Frequent travel, up to 75%, within Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba
Must live in or move to Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Must provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained
Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency required for degrees obtained outside Canada
Hands-on Salesforce experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint desired
Extensive knowledge of computer-based applications, IT operations, and SaaS platforms
Familiarity with wireless and GPS technology considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and close attention to detail
Aptitude for learning new software and equipment products quickly
Prior dealership or channel management experience preferred
Genuine commitment to doing what is right for the customer
