About the role
- Production packaging operator running and maintaining automated and manual equipment. Supporting Galderma’s dermatology manufacturing quality, safety, and production operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain packaging equipment
- Work safely at all times
- Maintain order, organization and cleanliness (ORP) of the workstation and equipment
- Operate multiple automated or manual production lines
- Follow current procedures and work instructions
- Complete task-related documentation
- Use a manufacturing execution system (MES), e.g., POMS
- Participate in manual cleaning of the workstation and feed lines
- Notify the supervisor in case of unusual situations or deviations from procedures
- Adhere to hygiene standards and prevent microbiological contamination
- Ensure production quality and supervise support personnel
- Record production times and meet standard lead times
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the workstation
- Collaborate with support departments (Warehouse, QA, Validation, Safety, etc.)
- Support cleaning of equipment and accessories in the wash area
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Basic electronics and/or mechanical knowledge is an asset
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in pharmaceutical, food, or chemical environments
- Computer skills
