About the role

  • Global Talent Management Leader shaping GHD's enterprise talent strategy. Building succession, capability, leadership readiness, and internal mobility across engineering consultancy GHD.

Responsibilities

  • Shape GHD's enterprise talent management strategy and align talent priorities with business growth and workforce capability
  • Contribute to the Executive People Leadership Team and shape the broader People function's direction and effectiveness
  • Lead, coach, and develop the global Talent Management Team
  • Establish talent frameworks, governance, and adoption approaches across workforce planning, succession, performance management, development, mobility, and talent insights
  • Translate business plans into workforce capability and strategic workforce planning priorities
  • Advise leaders on critical roles, skills, succession risks, readiness, development opportunities, and capability sourcing
  • Enable development from within through talent visibility, career pathways, internal mobility, priority experiences, and readiness planning
  • Partner across the People ecosystem to embed clear, consistent, business-aligned talent practices

Requirements

  • Executive-level experience leading talent management or related People disciplines in a complex, global organization
  • Demonstrated measurable business impact
  • Ability to connect business strategy to workforce capability, succession depth, leadership readiness, and talent investment decisions
  • Strong business acumen, executive influence, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership
  • Ability to leverage data and insights to inform decisions and shape enterprise outcomes
  • Experience applying psychometric assessment insights to talent, leadership, succession, and development decisions
  • Experience using enterprise talent management technology, preferably Oracle HCM
  • Professional services or engineering consulting experience is an asset
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required
  • Master's degree is preferred
