Responsibilities
Identify simple, effective methods to meet technical needs and apply best practices.
Support engineers and specialists in verifying construction and rehabilitation work on infrastructure and buildings.
Perform quality control tests on soils, aggregates, cement concrete and asphalt mixtures.
Verify that construction stages comply with quality and safety standards.
Extract and organize data from tests and observations.
Write site reports to track and document projects.
Detect basic anomalies during testing or equipment use.
Support initial diagnostic steps and contribute to technical adjustments.
Participate in coaching, mentoring and internal training.
Collaborate with engineers, coordinators, technicians and foremen as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
8 years of experience required
College diploma (DEC) or College Certificate (AEC) in Civil Engineering is an asset
Strong oral and written French skills
Hold an ASP Construction card
Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
Independent, resourceful and punctual
Available for a variable schedule
