Responsibilities
- Identify simple, effective methods to meet technical needs and apply best practices.
- Support engineers and specialists in verifying construction and rehabilitation work on infrastructure and buildings.
- Perform quality control tests on soils, aggregates, cement concrete and asphalt mixtures.
- Verify that construction stages comply with quality and safety standards.
- Extract and organize data from tests and observations.
- Write site reports to track and document projects.
- Detect basic anomalies during testing or equipment use.
- Support initial diagnostic steps and contribute to technical adjustments.
- Participate in coaching, mentoring and internal training.
- Collaborate with engineers, coordinators, technicians and foremen as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience required
- College diploma (DEC) or College Certificate (AEC) in Civil Engineering is an asset
- Strong oral and written French skills
- Hold an ASP Construction card
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Independent, resourceful and punctual
- Available for a variable schedule
