About the role
- AI software engineer building agents, APIs, and full-stack applications for GoDaddy’s entrepreneur-focused online tools. Integrating large language models and cloud services to improve customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI agents and intelligent applications solving customer and business challenges
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs powering AI-driven experiences
- Develop full-stack solutions across user-facing experiences and backend systems
- Integrate large language models, AI services, data platforms, and external APIs
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners to deliver features and products
- Explore emerging technologies and contribute ideas advancing GoDaddy’s AI capabilities and customer experience
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar programming languages
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services
- Hands-on experience building or supporting AI, machine learning, or large language model-based applications
- Experience with prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and AI integrations
- Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS
- Experience with AWS services including S3, IAM, Apache Airflow, and other compute, storage, networking, and security services
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, testing, debugging, version control, CI/CD, production operations, and full-stack application development
- Experience with databases, data pipelines, and distributed systems is an additional qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is an additional qualification
- Position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands
- GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC
