Responsibilities
- Participate in financial analysis and performance engagements
- Gather and analyze the information required to understand client issues
- Develop financial models and analytical tools
- Draw conclusions, assess various scenarios, and develop recommendations
- Prepare reports, studies, and presentations for decision-makers
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and the presentation of results
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while adhering to budgets and timelines
- Contribute to engagements with organizations in the municipal, broader public, and private sectors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA designation or currently pursuing it
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in a professional services firm
- Strong interest in financial analysis and leveraging data to support decision-making
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills
- Demonstrated rigor, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites
