About the role
- Junior Developer supporting financial systems and legal technology solutions for law firms. Building integrations, automation, and software under senior developer guidance at Harbor.
Responsibilities
- Assist with development, customization, testing, and support of Elite 3E and related financial and practice management platforms
- Support workflows, business processes, interfaces, and automation solutions
- Write, test, and troubleshoot code under senior developer guidance
- Participate in debugging, issue resolution, deployments, and software updates
- Assist with integrations between financial systems and third-party applications
- Work with REST APIs, data exchange technologies, XML, and JSON
- Support data transformation, data exchange, and integration maintenance
- Participate in project meetings and requirements-gathering sessions
- Document technical requirements, designs, and implementation activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver project objectives
- Provide updates on assigned tasks and project activities
- Follow development standards and participate in code reviews and quality assurance
- Use Git or similar source control tools
- Continuously develop technical and consulting skills through training and project experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Equivalent education, internships, or relevant technical training will be considered
- 0–2 years of software development experience
- Internship, co-op, academic project, or entry-level software development experience desirable
- Exposure to Microsoft development technologies or object-oriented programming concepts preferred
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, or integration concepts is a plus
- Experience working in a team environment and willingness to learn new technologies
- Preferred knowledge of C# or other object-oriented programming languages, .NET Framework or .NET Core, REST APIs, JSON, XML, Git or other version control tools, and Power Automate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional attitude and willingness to work directly with clients when needed
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Occasional travel may be required
