About the role
- Data Migration Consultant managing CRM data imports, validation, and onboarding for Neon One, a nonprofit software company. Coordinating clients, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a full portfolio of new CRM clients as their data point of contact throughout onboarding
- Conduct data imports by preparing complex data import rules for software engineers
- Perform pre-migration audits, data validation checks, and post-migration reconciliation
- Examine source Excel data for structure, quality, inconsistencies, missing values, and non-standard entries
- Document data maps, transformation logic, migration issues, and requirements
- Communicate with business stakeholders and development teams
- Resolve data import errors and data discrepancies during or after migration
- Keep Rocketlane, ZenDesk, JIRA, Salesforce, and other internal systems accurate and up to date
- Collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, and Support teams to align client strategy and project status
Requirements
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheet skills, including knowledge of common functions
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- History of delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience in the nonprofit industry preferred
- Experience working in a SaaS environment preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and/or Canada
- Experience working with a CRM
- Experience managing databases
- Experience in a client-facing or client-support role
