About the role

Responsibilities

  • Generate and drive internal and external growth opportunities in partnership with the CIO and the executive committee
  • Contribute to business development for the digital media team and participate in major client presentations
  • Evolve Glassroom's mission, objectives, and culture
  • Provide industry leadership to strengthen Glassroom's brand awareness
  • Build and sustain relationships with leading clients as a strategic advisor
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Continuously optimize practices and improve collaboration
  • Structure, manage, and deliver strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Provide strategic leadership for major digital media activities
  • Define the vision to modernize media planning, traffic management, and reporting
  • Identify new tools, formats, channels, and methodologies to maximize client value
  • Own and drive the product roadmap for digital media products
  • Contribute to the development and integration of cutting-edge products and services
  • Design and present major strategic service offerings and mandates
  • Ensure alignment and quality standards for digital activations

Requirements

  • University or college degree, preferably with a specialization in advertising, marketing, or communications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in media
  • At least 5 years in a similar leadership role in an agency
  • Strong performance-driven orientation
  • Deep knowledge of digital optimization best practices
  • Strong expertise in programmatic display and video
  • Strong expertise in paid social media
  • Strong expertise in search engine marketing (paid search/SEM)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including dashboards/pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and calculated fields
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Ability to communicate in English due to daily interactions and project management with Toronto teams
  • Ability to mobilize, inspire, and develop teams
  • Ability to anticipate trends, turn complexity into opportunity, and drive innovation
  • Comfortable working within a shared-services model and a multi-agency ecosystem
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex strategies to persuade clients, teams, and senior leadership
