About the role
- AI Engineering Manager building full-stack AI solutions on AWS and Azure for Huron's global consulting business. Leading pod engineering standards, quality, and business collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack features on AWS and Azure using Claude and other models
- Work with users and the business day to day inside a pod
- Maintain quality through tests and evaluations on everything that ships
- Build within the agreed solution design and flag gaps in the design
- Set the engineering standard in the pod and support less experienced engineers
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years building software or AI, including 1 to 2 years leading
- Python and TypeScript, back end and modern front end (React or similar)
- RAG and agent experience in production
- Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- REST APIs and enterprise data integration
- AWS or Azure, deploying and operating cloud-native workloads
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Exposure to Agentic DevOps tooling (agentic coding tools, eval-driven pipelines)
- Vector databases and LLM observability in production
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform or Bicep)
- Healthcare or higher education exposure, including HIPAA or FERPA environments
- AWS Machine Learning Engineer - Associate, or Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102 or its successor)
- Comfortable working with the business
