About the role
- IT Analyst maintaining Hydro’s infrastructure, applications, and Active Directory. Supporting business users and global IT projects for a sustainable aluminium and renewable energy company.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Hydro Quality system, HSE regulations, policies, and standardized operating procedures
- Take active part in incident resolution
- Work with global support teams to resolve IT infrastructure and application-related issues
- Install or participate in installation of IT infrastructure components, applications, and relevant tools
- Monitor and maintain location-specific infrastructure and applications
- Comply with area-specific customer requirements
- Participate in location-specific and global IT projects
- Maintain user accounts within locally supported applications
- Act as location representative of GBS IT professionals
- Participate in IT change management flows
- Troubleshoot IT infrastructure incidents and application errors; diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
- Maintain the location-specific part of Active Directory
- Follow global architecture, security, and operational standards and policies
- Maintain location-specific IT documentation
- Prioritize work in compliance with GBS IT Service Level Agreements
Requirements
- 5 or more years work experience on the field of IT Infrastructure
- IT Technician qualification is a must
- Fluency in English is a must
- French is preferred
- Travel to Montreal plant quarterly expected
- ITIL Certification is preferred
- Exposure to and understanding of a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience in basic Vendor management processes is preferred
- Eagerness to learn and further develop yourself professionally
