About the role

Analyste SOC détectant les menaces et répondant aux incidents pour I-TRACING, pure-player indépendant de la cybersécurité. Exploitation SIEM, analyse de vulnérabilités et suivi de remédiation.

Responsibilities

Operate a SIEM solution to analyze log data and detect anomalous behavior
Monitor emerging threats and new attack techniques
Define and implement new controls and alerts
Conduct automated and manual vulnerability assessments
Analyze security incidents
Provide remediation support and guidance
Track incidents and produce metrics
Collaborate with the Montreal and Hong Kong offices as part of a follow-the-sun operating model
Contribute to the growth of the Canadian office in the Canadian market

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, or a college diploma with a specialization in cybersecurity
Ideally, 1–2 years of experience as a security analyst, particularly in incident detection and response
Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and investigative skills
Curiosity and an open mind to keep up with the evolving threat landscape
Strong teaching and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Security clearance is an asset
Vulnerability scanning skills
Initial experience with a SIEM tool, ideally
Knowledge of WAN/LAN networking
General knowledge of security solutions, including firewalls, proxies, IPS/IDS, WAF, etc.
Experience administering Unix/Linux and Windows systems
Full professional proficiency in English and French required
Spanish is an asset
