Functional architecture advisor shaping ERP and accounting solutions at iA Financial Group, a Canadian insurance, savings, and wealth management provider. Bridging business, technology, and vendors across financial transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Analyze, define, and evolve business requirements in alignment with strategic and technology directions.
Design, document, and recommend functional and system solutions for internal clients.
Consider sustainability, performance, security, and integration within the existing ecosystem.
Define business requirements, functional rules, data transformation rules, interfaces, reports, and dashboards.
Analyze functional, operational, and system impacts of proposed changes.
Prepare and present recommendations and solution scenarios to diverse audiences.
Liaise between business sectors, delivery teams, technology partners, and external vendors.
Evaluate new applications, features, and technology capabilities.
Oversee testing strategies and support users in validating and adopting solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement and technology transformation initiatives.
Ensure the quality of functional deliverables.
Provide functional leadership or product ownership when required.

Holds a university degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Functional Architect in the accounting field.
Strong understanding of ERP solutions, preferably Oracle, within a financial environment.
Solid understanding of accounting processes.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent command of French.
Intermediate level of English.
Ability to analyze and prepare reports in English and collaborate with English-speaking partners daily.
