About the role

  • Conseiller·ère développant et fidélisant le réseau de membres de Tourisme Montréal, organisme qui promeut Montréal comme destination touristique. Accompagnement des entreprises et mobilisation autour d’initiatives touristiques et gastronomiques.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Tourisme Montréal’s primary ambassador to current and prospective members
  • Grow the membership base and ensure member onboarding, support, and retention
  • Identify prospective new members and introduce them to the value of Tourisme Montréal
  • Advise businesses on selecting the most appropriate membership option
  • Conduct the necessary follow-ups to support membership growth
  • Welcome new members and guide them through the Tourisme Montréal ecosystem
  • Support members throughout their first year of membership
  • Ensure member satisfaction, engagement, retention, and membership renewals
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of businesses participating in MTLàTABLE, Passeport MTL, and Explore MTL
  • Encourage member participation in departmental projects
  • Build lasting relationships with participating businesses in the tourism and foodservice sectors
  • Understand members’ business needs and direct them to relevant services, programs, and opportunities
  • Identify opportunities related to visibility, sponsorships, events, or business development and share them with internal teams
  • Represent Tourisme Montréal within the industry and contribute to the profile and reach of its network
  • Gather member feedback, needs, and concerns
  • Share field observations and contribute to improving the membership model, segmentation, and member experience

Requirements

  • Education in a relevant field, such as business administration, business development, tourism, hospitality, management, or another related discipline
  • Experience in business development, member services, account management, customer relations, or a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of customer experience and retention
  • Strong interest in the tourism, events, and foodservice industries
  • Fluency in French and good knowledge of English; English is required for communication with members
  • Excellent ability to build trusting relationships
