About the role

Senior Medical Affairs Specialist supporting clinical education, evidence generation, and compliance for Insulet’s Omnipod diabetes devices. Fixed-term remote maternity cover role.

Responsibilities

Process external communications, including medical information inquiries and promotional materials, ensuring medical and scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance
Develop training and educational products and programs for internal, external, professional, and end-user audiences
Inform evidence generation plans supporting innovation, claims and indications expansion, and regulatory requirements
Communicate the clinical value of Insulet’s diabetes products to external audiences
Analyze evidence related to diabetes therapies, standards of care, and technologies to inform product development and commercial strategies
Ensure execution of corporate-sponsored and investigator-initiated research studies
Maintain clinical quality standards and align initiatives with current practices
Strategize and execute plans for international, national, and local scientific conferences
Support Insulet Corporation’s mission to improve the lives of people with diabetes through its Omnipod medical device platform

Minimum bachelor’s degree in health-related science and/or healthcare credentials (RN, RD, etc.)
2+ years of relevant experience in a clinical, industry, or research setting
Clinical or scientific background related to diabetes disease state and devices preferred
Industry experience in Medical Information, Clinical Research, Medical Science, or Medical Education departments desirable
Experience deciphering clinical evidence and translating key points to diverse audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaborative and cross-cultural skills
Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and prioritize project timelines
History of strong clinical practice in industry and non-industry settings
Familiarity with regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines/policies
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Products, and medical communication tools
High ethical standards in interactions with HCPs, payers, and industry representatives
