Finance functional analyst configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion GL, HCM, and Fixed Assets for Intact’s insurance business.
Testing integrations, managing data quality, and supporting SOX controls across Canadian teams.
Responsibilities
Execute approved Oracle Fusion configurations, including value sets, account combinations, basic GL setups, intercompany parameters, and fixed asset categories
Capture requirements inputs, clarify needs, and help translate them into configuration items and acceptance criteria
Contribute to post-acquisition integration through templates, structure validation, and harmonization tasks
Prepare and execute unit, SIT, and UAT test cases; document results, defects, and evidence
Support defect triage, issue reproduction, follow-up coordination, and retesting fixes
Participate in go-live hypercare, issue tracking, and escalation
Provide Level 1–2 functional support by triaging tickets, analyzing and resolving common issues, and escalating when needed
Maintain knowledge-base articles, FAQs, and standard operating procedures
Assist with data migration preparation, validations, and instructed reconciliations
Improve data quality through checklists and consistency validations
Support 52-109/SOX control documentation and audit-evidence organization
Maintain configuration records, decision logs, test evidence, and user guides
Contribute to training and change materials, including quick reference guides and release notes
Report to the Director, ERP – Oracle Fusion Cloud or delegate
Travel occasionally depending on project requirements, such as post-acquisition integrations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
3–5 years of relevant experience in financial systems, IT, or finance/accounting, including internships
Exposure to an ERP environment, ideally Oracle Fusion
Exposure to testing, support, documentation, or data migration activities is an asset
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Basic understanding of finance processes, including GL, journal entries, and reconciliations, or demonstrated ability and motivation to learn quickly
Aptitude for ERP configuration concepts, including setups, roles/access, approvals, and workflows
Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and service orientation
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism in English and French is required to interact with English-speaking colleagues across Canada
Must be eligible to work in Canada; no Canadian work experience required
Exposure to AP, AR, Cash Management, Expense, or Procurement is preferred
Knowledge of internal controls/audit concepts, including 52-109/SOX, or strong interest in developing this expertise
Occasional travel may be required depending on projects
