About the role

  • Senior finance leader owning accounting, FP&A, tax, and financial systems for Disputifier’s fintech chargeback platform. Building scalable reporting, controls, forecasts, and automation for high-growth e-commerce revenue protection.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, tax, and financial operations
  • Lead accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
  • Manage the general ledger, chart of accounts, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial statements
  • Manage external reviews/audits and liaise with third-party firms
  • Own cash management, treasury, liquidity forecasting, banking relationships, AP, AR, billing, and collections
  • Manage profit-share calculations and remittance processes with strategic partners
  • Design and maintain scalable billing and revenue-reconciliation systems
  • Lead AR Specialists responsible for collections and settlement communications
  • Manage payroll and compliance for global employees and contractors
  • Oversee spend controls, approval workflows, and vendor management
  • Build and own the financial model, budget, rolling forecast, KPI reporting, and unit-economics reporting
  • Deliver variance analysis and support strategic planning, scenario modeling, pricing, resource allocation, and business-case analysis
  • Establish long-range planning and headcount models
  • Oversee federal, state, local, payroll, and sales tax compliance
  • Manage external tax-advisor relationships and ensure timely filings and payments
  • Own and optimize the finance technology stack and implement scalable systems
  • Establish a single source of truth for financial and operational data
  • Drive automation, process improvement, dashboards, self-serve reporting, and SOP documentation
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI tooling for automation and efficiency
  • Report to the COO and oversee a small offshore support team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • CPA designation
  • 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including public accounting and/or high-growth companies
  • Expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  • Hands-on experience owning month-end close and financial reporting
  • Experience leading audits, due diligence, and business reviews with leadership teams
  • Strong systems mindset and technical proficiency
  • Ability to work directly in accounting tools and build automations and integrations independently
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong reconciliation and internal-control practices
  • Ability to build structure, automation, documentation, and repeatable workflows
  • Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment
  • Growth-minded approach and commitment to continuous improvement
