About the role
- Senior Consultant conducting complex property valuations, expropriation, and litigation analyses for JLL, a global commercial real estate and investment management company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive real estate valuations involving unique-purpose assets, large-scale land holdings, expropriation, and litigation matters
- Research and collect internal and external data to support accurate, defensible valuations
- Collaborate with senior team members to create, edit, and prepare narrative reports for filing with Quebec Courts
- Prepare for and participate in negotiations with stakeholders and legal representatives
- Enhance professional skills and market knowledge through conferences, online learning, and professional development
- Support the team with additional reasonable tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in administration focused on real estate management, combination of certificates including real estate, or equivalent education
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in real estate valuation and appraisal
- Active member in good standing of the Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec
- Excellent French communication skills (spoken, read, and written); French-English bilingualism is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Microsoft Windows, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and investment real estate trends
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work with minimal supervision
