About the role

  • Finance Manager modernizing Controlling and Inventory processes for Johnson & Johnson’s global healthcare transformation. Supporting S4/Hana ERP design, testing, deployment, and process harmonization.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the finance function in cross-functional discussions relating to Controlling & Inventory, particularly MAKE and R&D
  • Support the Controlling & Inventory Finance Lead with the global finance transformation initiative, including ERP/S4Hana design, build, and deployment
  • Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Technical Product Owners, System Integrators, and transformational programs to capture and define business requirements
  • Manage interdependencies with other transformational programs such as Signifi/Transact
  • Ensure the Global Template is designed and built to meet business requirements using current technology capabilities
  • Document future-state design as part of the Global Template build
  • Support TPO and System Integrator teams in building the proposed design in S4/Hana
  • Participate in build demonstrations, review deliverables, and provide feedback
  • Ensure business requirements are met during the build
  • Collaborate with the Master Data team to validate data setup for Controlling & Inventory processes
  • Ensure development-system processes meet business requirements and provide feedback to TPO and System Integrator teams
  • Support deployment teams during testing cycles and hypercare

Requirements

  • A minimum of a university degree is required, preferably in Finance or Economics
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance roles is required, preferably in supply chain, a principal company environment, and/or R&D
  • Experience with Costing, Inventory & Plant Accounting in a Supply Chain or R&D role considered an asset
  • Experience with process development and improvement
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to balance big picture with attention to detail
  • Passion for developing expertise in complex financial topics
  • Agile mindset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex issues
  • Team player and collaborative working style
  • Experience working in global/virtual environments is a plus
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, frequently changing environment
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management, including ability to influence and challenge
  • Passion for driving change and inspiring business adoption of new processes and technology
  • Expert knowledge of SAP ERP platform
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of digital tools such as PowerQuery and PowerBI is a plus
