About the role

  • Senior Brand Partnerships Manager scaling Jobber’s influencer partnerships and acquisition channel. Driving partner growth, revenue, strategy, and repeatable team programs for small service businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a roster of brand partners and the spend behind it from recruitment and negotiation through onboarding, coaching, and renewal
  • Help successful partners double their results by identifying growth opportunities across the partner network
  • Develop partner-growth strategy, targets, forecasts, experiments, and tests
  • Implement strategies to grow performing talent into top performers
  • Set targets, activate partners with other representatives, and report performance to demonstrate incremental sales
  • Document improvements into repeatable team plays, train the team, and adjust what is not working
  • Analyze channel performance and translate findings into action
  • Negotiate complex partnership contracts with judgment regarding brand fit and risk
  • Collaborate with Public Relations and Legal teams on partnerships carrying exposure
  • Protect and grow Jobber’s brand reach and reputation
  • Contribute ideas for campaigns, events, and partner resources
  • Share insights, coach and support Brand Partnership representatives, and raise team standards
  • Report to the Senior Manager of Brand Partnerships

Requirements

  • Extensive marketing and influencer partnership experience with measurable, social-driven results contributing to new business and revenue
  • Track record of taking already-performing programs or partners to meaningful additional growth
  • Experience building strategy, forecasting growth, executing strategy, and driving team adoption
  • Ability to analyze partner-level performance and build defensible forecasts
  • Ability to influence people without authority
  • Strong commercial instincts in pitching, handling objections, negotiating, and closing
  • Excellent judgment in assessing brand fit and brand risk
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Comfort with hands-on work including campaign briefs, backend setup, contract tracking, and content monitoring
  • Ability to travel across North America
  • Previous people-leadership experience is an asset
  • Sales or business development experience at a SaaS company or tech startup is an asset
  • Experience running paid social media and creator campaigns is an asset
  • Experience with affiliate or partner management platforms and attribution tooling is an asset
  • Education in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or related fields is a plus
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Available to attend the office at least 1 day per week according to the department schedule
  • Must be based in Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo
