Responsibilities
Design, code, test, and maintain software used across product design, lifecycle management, supply chain, and quality engineering
Develop methods to monitor systems and analyze logs to alert administrators to issues
Design and implement internal software and custom reports to analyze data across multiple systems
Write scripts to automate data transformation and improve consistency and quality
Use AI prompting to generate scripts and database queries
Enhance and extend Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management systems using APIs
Participate in gathering user stories and requirements across teams
Author and execute manual and automated test plans
Perform software validation and deploy changes in a regulated environment
Requirements
Object-oriented programming skills, preferably with Java or C#
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
Experience with source repositories, preferably with Git
Enthusiastic about finding innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges
Keen desire to help produce high quality code
Highly proactive and able to execute tasks with minimal instruction and guidance
Excellent communication skills
History of success working in a team setting
Legally entitled to work in Canada
